Montaer Aircraft is thrilled to announce another milestone in its international growth as we ship our first Montaer MC-01 to South Korea! This marks the beginning of our operations in a dynamic new market in Asia, furthering Montaer’s commitment to expanding its footprint across the globe. The aircraft is being delivered to a customer who will be partnering with a flight school based out of Busan, South Korea—one of the country's key aviation hubs.
This strategic move into South Korea underscores Montaer’s focus on fostering relationships with regions that are showing increasing demand for high-quality, light-sport aircraft. With South Korea's growing interest in general aviation, Montaer sees significant potential in providing advanced, reliable aircraft for training and recreational flying.
The MC-01, with its top-tier performance, modern avionics, and robust safety features, is an ideal choice for South Korea’s emerging aviation sector. The aircraft being shipped will feature a unique paint scheme that pays homage to the colors of the South Korean flag—blue, red, and white. This thoughtful design symbolizes Montaer’s respect for the local culture while showcasing the sleek, modern aesthetic that has made the MC-01 a favorite among pilots worldwide.
The delivery to South Korea not only enhances Montaer’s reach but also highlights the versatility of the MC-01 in supporting flight schools and private aviation enthusiasts alike. With Busan as a strategic base, Montaer’s aircraft will soon become an integral part of pilot training in the region, offering unparalleled reliability, safety, and comfort.
Expanding Further into Oceania: Montaer’s New Dealer for Australia & New Zealand
In addition to our exciting expansion into South Korea, we are proud to announce our new partnership with Swish Projects Pty Ltd based in Melbourne, Australia. Swish Projects will serve as the official dealer and distributor of Montaer aircraft across Australia and New Zealand. This marks a significant step in our commitment to supporting light-sport and experimental aircraft enthusiasts in Oceania.
James Fisher, Director of Swish Projects, brings a wealth of expertise in the light-sport and experimental sectors, making Swish the ideal partner to introduce Montaer’s MC-01, MC-04, and other upcoming models to Australian and New Zealand pilots. Their stellar reputation for customer service and industry knowledge will ensure that Montaer’s customers in the region receive the best support, including local parts inventory, transition training, and delivery assistance.
This partnership complements Montaer’s growing international presence, aligning with our broader vision to cater to the needs of pilots worldwide. With the launch of the highly anticipated 916iS Turbocharged version with IFR equipment, Montaer is poised to provide high-performance aircraft that are perfect for both recreational flying and professional training organizations.
Additionally, as Montaer inaugurates its new 35,000 sq ft factory in Brazil, we expect production to increase significantly, with plans to deliver 36 aircraft this year and expand up to 48 next year. This expansion will enable us to meet growing demand, especially as we allocate production slots to the Australian and New Zealand markets.
"Our partnerships in South Korea and with Swish Projects are vital steps in growing Montaer’s global reach," said Bruno de Oliveira, CEO of Montaer Aircraft. "By working with trusted regional partners, we ensure that our customers receive the highest quality aircraft and unparalleled support, no matter where they are in the world."
Stay tuned as Montaer continues to expand into new territories, bringing innovation, quality, and performance to the skies across Asia, Oceania, and beyond!
